Young Galaxy – Falsework Tour
Historically, Young Galaxy has performed in a more conventional, traditional rock band set up. Over the course of their career their music has become more challenging, refined and modern. With the Falsework album, they arrived at a place where the Young Galaxy live stage experience needed to evolve into something more ambitious, to better reflect their evolving musical direction.
Falsework is an ambitious new presentation of Young Galaxy’s music live on stage, using an exciting combination of cutting edge technology and a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach.
Premiering in New York in January 2015 and touring throughout the US and Canada, Falsework marries the visceral emotional punch of the live music setting with the more interpretive, transportive qualities of dance, visual effects, and film.
Featuring a greater emphasis on multi–media platforms such as synchronized lighting, choreography, dance, and contemporary theatre, Falsework is a dramatic coming together of these disciplines.
